Contracted by Sloecentrale BV for the Site Coordination and Management of the construction of their 870 MW Gas Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. Project volume over Euro 500 mio. The project consist of two Gasturbine-Generator-Steamturbine Units with two Heat Recovery Steam Generators and all auxiliaries and buildings, water demineralisation plant, water intake pumping station, office building and warehouse/workshop.

Responsible for the coordination between Siemens and the neighbour companies and interfaces with third parties, including the Labour Inspectorate (Arbeidsinspectie).

As Site Manager/Coordinator responsible for the coordination of the technical matters within the Technical Team, consisting of QA&QC, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation&Controls and Commissioning Engineers, resorting under the Technical Director. Chair of the Weekly Site Meetings with the Main Contractor (Siemens). Reporting and analysing of the project's progress. Evaluation of the mitigation measures.

Member of the Management Team and participating in the monthly Contract Management Team meetings, conduction the Test on Completion and handling of the List of Open Points.

Within the Team a series of Health and Safety observation has been set-up, administration and recording of the findings. Achievement: 2 minor (Non Reportable) Lost Time Injuries at 2.5 million man-hours.
